Library is very big, well ventilated and well stacked with best collection of text books, reference books, periodicals, national and international journals, magazines and newspapers. Digital Library can provide access to nearly 200 full text journals through internet and MEDLINE provides a 10 years collection of abstracts of journals articles on CDs.

SMSR is provided with state-of-the-art infrastructure in terms of its blocks of buildings, which include cozy, comfortable and well-furnished departments, laboratories, and classrooms for students, besides equipment of latest technological quality.

A network of computer with 24 computers linked to the main server. These computers are equipped to provide internet browsing of educational sites for updating of knowledge, data bases such as Medline, Mdconsult and AIR. These computers are networked so as to provide easy access to the E-medical journal sites.

The Audio-Visual section in the library is well equipped with a LCD projector, slide projector, DVD player and a scanner to cater to the learning needs of the medical students and to provide a centralized facility for small group scientific presentations for the students as well as faculty.

A hygienic canteen facility is provided to cater to the needs of the students and staff of the college. The canteen serves tea, coffee, snacks, cool drinks, tiffin and meals at a reasonable rate inside the campus. All College staff is provided Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee and Snacks free of cost.

The auditorium of the college is well equipped with all the modern technologies. All the laboratories of the institute are well-established with latest and sophisticated equipments needed to conduct the experiments. Facilities for indoor games along with gymnasium are also available.
