KIMS Medical College is a private, self funded college to have earned final recognition from Medical Council of India as a Medical College, in the State of Andhra Pradesh with an intake of 150 admissions annually.

KIMS Medical College is going for enlistment in Avicenna Directories earlier known as WHO world directory Medical Schools,Global Directories of Education Institutions for Health Professions - A partnership of WHO and University of Copenhagen

The Medical College was started in the year 2005 and obtained final recognition from Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Government of India in March, 2010.

It obtained permission from MCI & Govt. of India for starting 9 Post Graduate Degree in the year 2011, and also permanent recognition status from MCI in 2010.

Located at Amalapuram on NH216 , the college attracts national and international students from the globe.
