Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University (KIMSU), Satara was established in the year 1984. The Krishna Institute of medical sciences was declared as “University” under section 3 of the UGC and Medical Council of India, New Delhi. KIMS has become an important center of medical education in Maharashtra. It offers undergraduate degree (MBBS) and degree and diplomas for post graduation in various branches. Post graduate diploma in medical laboratory technology is also offered by the Institute.
