Jawaharlal Nehru Medical
College (JNMC), Belguam was
established by KLE Society at Belgaum in 1963. The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical
College, Belgaum, stands testimony to the high professional standards

Council of India and has a 1000 bedded free charitable block as well as the
1000 bedded Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre on
campus.The college also runs a rural hospital - Dr. Kamal Medical Centre, 150
KMs away at Ankola.The College, now a constituent college of KLE

Admission
Procedure –
For getting admission into PG
Diploma, MD, MS, DM & M.Ch Courses in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College
Belgaum, the MBBS graduates have to qualify Common Entrance Test – conducted by
KLE University. The admissions of the students is based on the ranks
obtained in all India Entrance Examination.
Eligibility
Criteria
Admissions for the PG program at
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College are made as per the rules and regulation of
the Medical Council of India. Only M.B.B.S graduates are eligible to apply for
Doctor of medicine program. In addition to this, the applicant must have
registered permanently under Medical Council of India.
Indian nationals who have obtained
graduation outside India are also eligible to apply for PG course. For this,
they have to get registered with Medical council of India by paying a
particular amount of fee.
To get admitted in to the PG program
the aspirants have to undergo an entrance test held by the Medical council of
India. For attending this entrance test the candidate must possess 50% marks in
MBBS degree. A relaxation of 10% marks is offered for SC or ST candidates.
